This is eyesight and a driving test. The test lasts for one hour and a high standard of ability is required. You will be asked to read the number plate of a stationary vehicle at a distance of 90 feet 27.5 metres. Then drive on quite a varied route, including all types of roads and asked to perform all the reversing manoeuvres. You must show that you have a thorough knowledge of the principles of good driving and road safety and that you can apply them in practice. Within this hour you will be allowed a maximum of 6 minor driving faults.
